The Outpost includes a newly remodeled 4BR home and a brand new 12BR building, designed specifically for community living. The building has a beautiful, modern design with an entire open floor of dedicated common area – including a large communal kitchen, dining and living space. Other features include:

“We are a newly forming community looking to build a tight-knit group of folks to call home. Our community purpose is to challenge, support, and celebrate the unique growth of each person. We want members who are open to dialogue, to making mistakes and learning from them, and to having lots of fun along the way!

We envision a collection of community members who are passionate about their lives – whether it is about their work in the world and/or their own personal growth. We dream of a place where the community members are intentional, engaged, and participate fully in their own lives and the fabric of the community. We are interested in creating an engaged, inclusive, and anti-racist culture that also deeply values sustainability. 

Life is hard and challenging enough, so we also love to laugh! It is humor, silliness, and celebration that get us through the work of moving through challenges. In addition, we will host shared meals and skill-sharing workshops where members offer their unique skills to the rest of the community.”

THE OPPORTUNITY

OpenDoor creates coliving homes designed for a community lifestyle. We believe living in community can support people in living with greater creativity, connection, and purpose. We take care of many of the basics of shared living – such as cleaning, common area furnishings, and more – so you can focus on the experience and benefits of community. 

We partner closely with our members to create unique, authentic communities in each of our coliving properties. We provide the basic framework and our members bring it to life with their passions, creativity and interests. We are looking for founding members that are excited to help form this new community with their leadership and vision.
