Thank you for your interest in the Freya Apartments coliving community.  On this page you can find out more about the Freya community including an overview of the Freya living experience and a member directory of all current members. Once you’ve review this page, please reach back out to OpenDoor if you’d like to move forward with a rental application. We hope you choose to make the Freya community your home!

The Coliving Experience

Living in an OpenDoor community can be an inspiring and enriching experience. For many, it is one of the most impactful periods of their lives: a time of personal growth, of making lasting friendships, and of being part of something bigger than yourself.

Make Meaningful Connections

Coliving is a great way to meet new people and build lasting relationships. This can include making a new best friend, connecting with a creative or business partner, or perhaps meeting a romantic partner - all of which have happened in our homes!

Be Supported By a Community

Freya is full of people who can support you in being the person you want to be. Whether it be a running or meditation buddy, someone to touch base with on your life goals, or just having others around to check-in with when you’re having a tough day.

Learn, Grow, Be Inspired

You can expect to learn from others who have different experiences, perspectives, and skills to share. You will also grow as a person, as coliving provides many opportunities to learn how to better communicate and relate to others.

Community Programming at Freya

Beautiful Common Areas
Each floor has its own fully furnished common kitchen, living, and laundry room. The ground floor lounge and communal kitchen is a large gathering spot for coworking, member-hosted events, OpenDoor community programs, and more. It even has a piano!
Community Events
Freya members get to participate in events hosted by both OpenDoor and other members alike. Interested in hosting a gathering? You'll be able to choose from our several common areas for you event.
Freya Food Program
The Freya Community has its own food program, which gives residents access to healthy groceries delivered weekly at wholesale discounts. Monthly community dinners, which are included with rent, provide a fun way to connect with other members. We also stock the common kitchens on each floor with basic necessities such as spices, oils, and condiments.
Community Workshops
Participate in valuable community workshops that span topics such as empathy & emotional intelligence, group facilitation, compassionate communication, and more - led by OpenDoor's experienced community facilitators and staff.
Artists in Residence
OpenDoor hosts a 12 person artist-in-residence program in the building. These artists are fellow community members who are creating art for the community. As a member, you will also be able to join for periodic events hosted by the artists.
