Conflict

Overview

Much like wildfires, on which many species depend  to clear out decayed material and germinate new seeds, conflict is a natural and healthy process in any relationship ecosystem, including coliving environments . If the conflict is too large and not dealt with early and often through proper structures and processes it can of course be more destructive  than helpful.

Our view on conflict is that it clarifies things in need of clarification and is an incredible opportunity for growth. Of course conflict that turns violent or threatens physical violence is in no way acceptable and is an evictable by law. However, the majority of conflict falls into the realm of tension, disputes, differing perspectives, and general emotional upheaval.
